For years, the Christian Heritage Party has promoted restorative justice. If you had the pleasure of hearing one of our candidates respond to questions about justice on the campaign trail, you will have heard them talk about our two pillars of justice: public safety and restitution for victims of property crimes.

Those who live on the seacoasts of Canada and who enjoy eating clams and mussels know that a “red tide” is a bad thing. It is a discolouration of seawater due to an unusually high concentration of algae.

It was a bad night for the NDP; a worse night for the Conservatives; and mediocre for the Greens. What about the CHP?

One requirement for becoming a candidate in a Canadian federal election is to obtain a minimum of 100 signatures of “qualified electors consenting to the nomination”.

When people refer to the “news networks,” they’re being generous. They are networks but the “news” is still whatever the editors, publishers, and producers want the voting public to think about.
