National Leadership Team
Rod Taylor
Rod Taylor is the National Leader of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada (CHP Canada).
Rod is happily married to Elaine, his wife of 43 years; they have two adult children and four grandchildren.
Raised in a politically-active family, Rod has long understood the importance of men and women standing up for what they believe, standing up for the innocent and the helpless and using their freedom of speech to influence society for good.
Having worked with his hands all his life, Rod understands the challenges faced by average working-class people and the responsibility we all share to build a society based on justice, freedom and personal initiative.
Rod feels that—unless we are willing to speak up and make our voices heard—government may grow beyond its usefulness. The high cost of a bloated and unaccountable bureaucracy has already led to a soaring national debt and an unsustainable tax burden on the working class. Rod plans to change all that.
Rod and the CHP intend to rein in wasteful government spending, remove unnecessary red tape and other obstacles to success and to defend innocent human life at all stages. The CHP would work to restore traditional marriage as the social norm and would protect schoolchildren from abusive and inappropriate indoctrination disguised as education. Rod is committed to the protection of religious freedom and freedom of speech.

British Columbia Council PresidentJim Enos
In addition to serving as Ontario President, Jim also serves as the candidate for the Hamilton Mountain EDA, which he helped to re-establish in the fall of 2010. Since its re-establishment, this EDA has been active between elections contending for the Christian world view at multiple levels of government; municipal, provincial and federal.
Jim also continues to serve as President of the Hamilton-Wentworth Family Action Council, which he co-founded in 1996. It is through the action of this Council over the past 18 years that he has gained insight into the effectiveness of being salt and light in this world, particularly at the public table.
It is this experience and energy that Jim brings in the hope that we at CHP Canada will catch the vision of impacting Canadian governance at all levels by engaging the culture for the Christian world view in a manner that the culture can understand, perhaps consider and hopefully embrace.

Sandy Siepman
On Apr. 4, 2014, I officially took over the presidency of the CHP for the Manitoba Council. I became a CHP member in the mid 1990’s and became involved in the Selkirk-Interlake EDA in 1999. I’ve served as campaign manager for several candidates since that time. I worked with our local EDA as well as with the Manitoba Council, where I served as vice-president for many years.
I worked for 30 yrs. for the National Parks Branch. I worked for both the National Parks and Historic Parks in Western and Northern Canada in the Engineering and Architecture Division
As the CHP, we pledge and pray to work to reclaim Canada for Christ to honour His name. We affirm that Canada’s heritage, culture and rule of law, as referenced in the preamble to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, are rooted in the understanding that the term “supremacy of God” refers to the God of the Bible.
