Mankind has been entrusted with a great responsibility to steward the Earth, to make efficient use of its resources and to pass it along to future generations for them to use and enjoy.

Environment

CHP recognizes our responsibility to steward and care for the natural environment and will protect Canada’s air, soil and water from destructive contamination by man-made chemicals. The CHP opposes ALL carbon taxes, cap-and-trade, carbon credits. Read Environment

Resource Management

Resources—especially non-renewable resources—must be harvested or extracted in a responsible manner, with a view to future generations. Canadian Farmland should be treated as a valuable but private resource that is held in trust for future generations. CHP Canada would work with resource companies to encourage processing Canadian products in Canada and much more. Atlantic Groundfishery 

The Christian Heritage Party will establish an Atlantic Groundfishery that works and one that finally includes a built-in conservation plan. Importantly, CHP Canada’s plan will give the fisheries back to those whose lives depend on them–the fishermen. Read Atlantic Groundfishery
