Our laws must protect Canadians from abuses through our rapidly growing scientific knowledge.
Personal Information
A person’s personal information, data and communications are their exclusive property.
- A person has the right to be informed as to whom, or where his information has been distributed.
- A person has the right to set terms and receive fair compensation should their information be put up for sale or trade.
- A person has the right to require the return and deletion of their personal information.
- A court order must be received prior to authorities directly or indirectly undertaking electronic surveillance or tracking of a person.
Under a CHP government, the right to ownership of your own personal information will be protected.
