He Shall Have Dominion

​Tomorrow, we celebrate the 149th Birthday/Anniversary of the Dominion of Canada. Until 1982, this celebration was called ‘Dominion Day’, acknowledging Sir Leonard Tilley’s presentation to the Fathers of Confederation that our name should be based on Psalm 72:8: “He (God) shall have dominion from sea to sea and from the river to the ends of the earth.”
