In the Beginning…?

Those Canadians who make it a point to keep informed about the affairs of our once great nation (there are still some) can only be saddened and perplexed as they look to Ottawa and across this nation. It’s a helpless feeling to watch the country that you love slowly at first, and then more rapidly, become a land not so wonderful. Such a feeling, I think, helps many of us understand how maybe our grandparents or even our parents felt helpless a few years prior to them having to make the choice to leave their homeland.
They came to the land of hope, the land of freedom where their children and grandchildren would have a safe, secure future. They came to Canada, a country confidently established on a solid Judeo-Christian foundation, which afforded a democracy cherished or envied by people worldwide. Those who came from behind the “iron curtain” must be the most discouraged as they watch—in disbelief—events unfolding similar to what they had witnessed in their former homeland. They watch the degradation of our Canadian legislative, judicial, and educational systems.
What is becoming of Canada?
I can relate to those who may be asking, at this point: “What degradations? Things aren’t that bad!” Years ago, I said the same thing—out of ignorance—and I now think I simply said it to defend my right to do nothing.
So, what woke me up?
It’s now just over eleven years ago that I recall sitting at my kitchen table and becoming, maybe for the first time in my life, so angry about a particular Supreme Court ruling that I seriously started pondering what I could possibly do to make a difference. To add fuel to the fire, I came to realize that our unwilling federal legislature had the power to reverse unconstitutional Supreme Court rulings. Then truth was evident to me: they were—and are, sadly—working in cahoots.
Such a powerful combination—the two most powerful governmental forces in the land—cannot be made to change their minds. The fervent lobbying, peaceful protests, marches, and petitions may win a few minor victories; but corruption, if not replaced, will win. It is winning. If you need a gauge to assess the “heart” (the true intent) of our nation, you simply have to look at its fruit (what is being said, ruled, and legislated).
If the heart is the root and the words are its fruit, how does your gauge rate Canada?
It doesn’t take a degree in political science to realize that the only way to win back this country is to replace those who were mistakenly trusted to lead us. If we do not replace them, our chances of survival are no better than that of a chicken with its head cut off. The chicken can protest all it wants, but the heart of the man with the ax has the final say. Christians and other faith-based Canadians across this land have to get out from the safety of their “trenches” and unite for the one cause that can repair all their individual causes: unite for Canada.
It was approximately twenty years ago that a major incident happened in my life that eventually led me to do what I’ve been elected to do today: lead the Christian Heritage Party of Canada to achieve the goal of replacing those leaders who have betrayed all Canadians. And that realization was: “In the beginning, God…”
Your help is needed today. If this generation of Canadians will not protect what we’ve inherited and return Canada to her former glory of unparalleled freedoms and equalities, generations to come will not have firsthand experience of these God-given rights.
Join the Christian Heritage Party of Canada today; support CHP Canada with your energy, prayers, and finances. Now is the time, the hour is late. Together, we can give future generations an inheritance that is worth the price past Canadians have paid to protect it.
