Way back in 2018, there was nothing more important for our federal government to legislate than the legalization of Marijuana. Economy? Nope! Increased deaths due the fentanyl? Nope! Housing? Nope! None of these were as important as the legalization of marijuana.

With the recent decease of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II, one might assume the title of this article to be referring to the ascension of Prince Charles to the throne. Much has been and will be said about that by other commentators on other platforms.

News came, as a relief last Wednesday, that Myles Sanderson, the second of two brothers sought for the murder of 10 people in Saskatchewan and the injuring of 18 others, was no longer a threat to public safety.

Today, Thursday, September 8, 2022, our lovely and gracious Queen has passed from her earthly existence. Her work is done. She now enters another realm.

Most of those elections will involve the election of municipal officers (mayors and councillors) and school trustees.

While the evidence is overwhelming that MSM are conspicuously at risk of spreading monkeypox due to their close physical contact and multiple partners, the reporting on this aspect of the outbreak has been largely stifled in the mainstream media due to fears of “stigmatizing” sexual behaviours that LGBTQ lobby groups claim are normal, healthy and worthy of societal approval.

We have often commented on the use of language to shift public perception on important issues. Orwell’s 1984 spelled out with prescient clarity the extent to which language can be manipulated.

For decades, the western world has been all wrapped up in the fight against one of the most basic elements found in the natural world: carbon. That battle still rages, but now governments have declared war on another natural element: nitrogen.
