Newtown Connecticut

Compassion and deep remorse are being felt around the world for those little children in Newtown, Connecticut. I cannot imagine for a second the devastation of those parents who lost their children. There are no words to describe such an incredible loss. How can there be?
On behalf of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada, I wish to offer condolences to the families of Newtown. May the One True Comforter embrace them in their grief.
In this Christmas month, when fewer and fewer people go to church, feel religious, or understand Judeo-Christian morality, it's time we reminded each other that the key to personal safety, school safety, and the safety of our nation is a strong sense of morality, a strong belief in family, and an understanding that there is evil in the world and always will be. We each have a personal responsibility of ensuring Judeo-Christian principles are the foundation for our communities, education, judicial systems, and the legislature. With such a solid foundation, we can rebuild our fractured society.
Progressives are wrong about human nature, wrong about society, wrong about morality, wrong about “gun control.” What we saw in Newtown, Connecticut shows the cost of being wrong again and again. God help us!
It's important that our nation return to being one country under God… that Judeo-Christian worldview that established the very foundational freedoms all Canadians have treasured for centuries.
