CHP Builders are Meeting and Deciding!

Leader's Message to all members!
We are often told, “If something looks too good to be true it probably is.” Well, I know now that this law of probability is wrong when it is referring to the Christian Heritage Party. We CHPers know that our party offers servant leadership, down-to-earth conservative social and fiscal policies, a promise to focus again on traditional family principles, and a promise to return righteousness to our nation. Doesn’t that sound too good to be true?
It does. Yet, with my involvement over the last ten years and, more recently, as CHP Canada’s national leader for three years, I can say with all certainty that our party’s objectives, aims, motives, and heart are for the betterment of Canada alone and nothing else. Our passion is not driven by self-importance, self-gain, power, position, or manipulation. Rather it reflects servant-hood, self-sacrifice, hard work, and uncompromising loyalty to the cause. Do we make mistakes? Sure we do; we are human after all, and we’ll constantly be undergoing refinement.
In our nation, we have so many wonderful benefits which were produced by a civil society submitted to the Creator and the rule of law. Because our laws were just, we functioned under the blessing, provision, and protection of God. Many people today desire the blessings but without the prerequisite trust and dependence on God and His Word. Others have tried in the past to achieve noble democratic ideals but using the tired and dysfunctional vehicles of political parties focused on compromise and pragmatism. The Reform Party began as a protest movement promising a renewal of hope and national success. It morphed into the Alliance and came full circle as the Conservative Party of Canada. Yes, that’s the same party that just gave $6 million to Planned Parenthood International, the same party that gave $400,000 of taxpayers’ money to the Toronto Gay Pride Parade.
Well, the CHP has a different conclusion to offer and one that is highly achievable!
Believe me; the opinions of the naysayers are pretty much irrelevant unless we make the mistake of believing them and worse yet, acting upon their taunts. We need to be like the prophet Nehemiah; he did not allow himself to be distracted or intimidated. Occasionally, some of our members allow themselves to be influenced by the naysayers and it causes division, confusion, un-needed debate, and hinders our building process. Yes! BUILD is the key word and we must.
There is nothing we need to wait for. God has already provided everything we need to achieve it.
He is providing us the time, the security, the blueprints, the leadership, and faithful members. As was discussed in our recent nationwide town-hall meetings, we need to build our policies, platforms, provincial allies, web sites, membership, internal departments, and EDAs and have a CHP Central Database to tie these all into one national command and control centre.
Does that mean that if we do everything right it will come without opposition? On the contrary, we can expect major opposition as we build. Especially within the ranks of moral Christian citizens, the master Deceiver will seek to divide us with every deceptive, inviting, offending ounce of energy he has. Let’s remember that falling isn’t fatal but staying down is fatal and failure is not an option. Let’s get along and let’s get building!
To build requires a plan and during the town hall meetings we discussed and formulated the implementation of a very viable plan. Here are the blueprints of what was presented and discussed:
- Blueprint for Restoration (our policies)
- Blueprint for Departments (our expertise)...this is new
- Blueprint for Provincial Wings (our allies)...this is new
- A CHP Central Database (our command and control centre)…this is new
