Canadians Need

Canadians need a Canada with principles of justice, compassion, honesty, and diligence. A Canada governed by men and women of integrity working together, giving all Canadians safe communities, a strong economy, and a just and secure future for their children and grandchildren. We need a government that believes in, values, and upholds the highest laws in the land. Laws which are firmly rooted in the Judeo-Christian worldview, which alone affords nations the democratic freedoms known to be the greatest in the world. A government that refuses to compromise even one iota from this foundational rock.
Canadians need a Canada that recognizes and respects all innocent human life as precious and sacred from conception to natural death. A Canada that ensures that “planned parenthood” means a campaign for life—the life, protection, and care for both the mother and child. Canadians need a Canada that is a role model worldwide for the care and protection it affords the disabled and the elderly and the love in action it shows to those who are faced with unanticipated pregnancies.
Canadians need a Canada that flourishes in strong, stable families; the very institution that ensures we remain a strong, stable nation. Stable families which desire children and can afford to have a parent stay at home to teach, discipline, nurture, and mature them. This is a Canada that show-cases worldwide the safest streets, the lowest delinquency, and the lowest rate of drug abuse and suicides. This Canada has a healthy birth rate and an abundance of schools. It has an education system giving the world its highest achievements in scholarship, the arts, industry, philosophy, and government. And it is a Canada whose cultural legacy of Christian ethics defends religious liberty for all faiths and one that appreciates the diversity of people of different ethnic backgrounds that make up this great nation.
The Canada we need has a responsible limited government, one with balanced budgets and zero debt. It’s a Canada that provides an adequate retirement account and one that is fair about taxes. One that taxes its citizens on what they choose to spend and not on what they earn. One with limited regulations and a tax system that allows businesses large and small to flourish, and hence carry out their economic responsibility as employers and job creators and fulfil that mandate which is so essential to the health and welfare of families and communities.
Yes, Canadians need a green, yet energy efficient, Canada, one that respects its environment and puts it in balance with economic progress. Ensuring the maximum potential is gained from natural resources of oil, gas, coal, logging, and hydro power allowing her to be self-sufficient. This is a Canada that protects its sovereignty.
Canadians need a Canada that has state-of-the-art hospitals, an ample supply of doctors and easy patient access to specialized equipment. One where there are no wait times to speak of.
Canadians deserve a sound judicial system that protects everyone; one that provides public safety, restitution to victims, and restoration to inmates. One that has judges who respect, value, and uphold the laws and practices that are grounded in the nation’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which states that: “Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law.”
Canada has a Canadian Charter with roots that date back to the Magna Carta, the political document that references the Bible more than any other source. The policy makers of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada utilize that same source and it’s for that reason its policies will provide for all these important Canadian needs and much more.
