The Christian Heritage Party is celebrating!!! While the celebratory party is in British Columbia, we are celebrating this historical event nationwide!

For the first time in the 26-year history of the Christian Heritage Party, some Canadians will now have the opportunity to vote for a CHP candidate in a provincial election. It been a long road filled with many obstacles and challenges but, with perseverance and hard work, we have an exciting new beginning. Well done to all those making CHP BC a political reality.

On May 14^th B.C. will go to the polls. CHP BC candidate Rod Taylor is representing the electoral district of Stikine and Donald Roberts is representing the electoral district of Prince George-Valemount. They will both be offering some unique and refreshingly solid conservative solutions in their CHP provincial platforms.

Of the policies of the nineteen political parties running in this election CHP BC’s better solutions are certainly down-to-earth and simply good and honest politics. Let’s look as some of the party platform, which, as a provincial party, is unique to British Columbia:

Democratic reform by eliminating “vote-splitting” with preferential balloting; free votes in the Legislature;

Environmental solutions which would end chemical-based “weather modification” programs and review of pesticide use;

Boost the economy by restricting exports of B.C.’s raw natural resources and promoting value-added processing, refining, and packaging within the province. Creating jobs for British Columbians!

Protect human life by providing more care facilities for the elderly, providing the best palliative care, and not assisted suicide. Defund abortion and demand access to information on abortion statistics;

Protect free speech and eliminate the NDP created “bubble zones” around abortion mills;

Choices in education to allow equal public funding for independent and charter schools;

Get rid of the B.C. Government’s addiction to gambling; it’s a tax on the poor; and

Pay off B.C.’s debt and introduce mandate balanced budget legislation.

CHP BC’s platform for election 2013 is certainly a reflection of their motto, which reads, "Together, we will build a better future by keeping the best from our past and adding the experience of the present.”

Today, the electoral districts of Stikine and Prince George-Valemount have raised the standard for the Christian Heritage Party nationwide and they have demonstrated the viability and the credibility of our party to all those who can vote CHP in both federal and provincial elections.

The candidates will need much prayer. May the Lord guide us all as we give them our united support for their courageous efforts on behalf of The Christian Heritage Party of British Columbia.

Our national office applauds CHP BC in being our first provincial building block and trusts that they will be an encouragement and incentive to the other provinces and territories to get organized in like manner.
