The CHP Calls on the Senate to Reject Bill C-14

“The CHP calls on the Senate to reject Bill C-14.” That message came through to those present at the anti-euthanasia demonstration yesterday on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa. It was not only the Christian Heritage Party that delivered this message. The same message was affirmed by doctors, MPs, various pro-life groups (especially the organizer of the event Euthanasia Prevention Coalition) and, notably, three senators warned the crowd about the imminent legal disaster.
After the speeches and greetings, participants got into body-bags and lay down on the ground, a scene that someone described as something that you would see after a plane crash—body-bags everywhere. Indeed, euthanasia is a tragedy, a huge loss of life. It will be much quieter and less noticeable than a plane crash, but we must not let ourselves be lulled into silence. We must speak out.
Watch this video of the CHP’s presence at the demonstration.
Our leader, Rod Taylor, spoke out a couple of weeks ago from the Charles Lynch Parliamentary Press room, on this very subject, here is the video: CHP Canada calls on the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs to Oppose Bill C-14
Here is Life Site News’ coverage of the anti-euthanasia rally in Ottawa (a short segment of Peter Vogel’s statement is included near the end of their video).
Many Canadians have been deceived into thinking euthanasia is a good thing. Take a minute to speak out on the topic of assisted suicide to people you come in contact with. Contact a Senator—even if you only leave a voice-mail—and let them know that you believe euthanasia and assisted suicide are wrong!
