Pam Geller Warns Canadians About “Political Correctness” in T.O. Police

RonGrayWhat do you call it when a police liaison officer “leans” on a rabbi to withdraw the use of his synagogue’s facilities by a “controversial” speaker?

American blogger Pamela Geller calls it “censorship.”

And she’s right.

Her complaint in Ontario against the chief of York Regional Police and the head of the YRP’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion bureau reveals that the cops’ definition of “diversity” is restricted to the severely truncated meaning imposed by cultural terrorists, that dominates our media and most of our university campuses.

“Diversity,” in this reading, only includes those who are “politically correct.” It doesn’t include Christians, Jews, or others who believe the Bible. Period.

Geller, whose blog articles on the conflict in the Middle East have been critical of pro-Palestinian, pro-Arab, and pro-Muslim activists, was scheduled to speak at a Toronto shul—a synagogue facility. But the “diversity” head of the York Regional Police contacted the rabbi, who is a consultant to the diversity bureau, and warned him that his status as a consultant might be in danger if he allowed Geller to speak.

That’s “diversity?” No, that’s censorship.

Another story of censorship—one you probably haven’t read about or seen on television—comes out of San Antonio, Texas, where the city council seeks to decree that anyone who has ever spoken, written, or acted in opposition to homosexuality, transgenderism, or same-sex “marriage” will not be eligible for municipal employment; or, if that person runs or represents a business, that business cannot do business with the city.

That’s also censorship.

As always, the would-be censors seek to drive the thin edge of the wedge at a local level; if they succeed in one locale, they “whipsaw” that success into another area to expand the range of an outrageous, unconstitutional oppression.

Take note: it’s coming to a local government near you. Soon.

The time to defend your free speech and freedom of assembly rights is not when these atrocities are launched in your local government. The time is now.

Every freedom-loving citizen has an obligation to posterity to become active in defence of such rights now.

The Christian Heritage Party of Canada is the only political party in Canada that speaks and acts in defence of the inalienable rights to life, to freedom of speech and assembly, and in defence of the natural family and of parents’ right to determine their children’s education.

Become involved today.
