As Our World Implodes

Tue, March 27, 2018   |   Author: Vicki Gunn   |   Volume 25    Issue 13

The headlines lately are tragic…wars and rumours of wars…nation rising against nation…famines and earthquakes...persecution of our Christian worldview… Events such as these have exposed the corruption of our society and our nation.

This week’s breaking news informs us that four Russian diplomats have been expelled from Canada because of the nerve gas attack in Britain.

According to Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland, “The four have been identified as intelligence officers or individuals who have used their diplomatic status to undermine Canada’s security or interfere in our democracy.” While whatever these Russians did in Canada lacks the headline appeal of the US “Russian collusion” investigation, it appears that Canada’s move has been prompted by more than just our support for the British. Russia is involved in a lot of “nation rising against nation” situations.

Simmering world tensions have Canadian soldiers deployed in Iraq, Romania, Latvia, and soon in Mali…to name a few. There are definitely “wars and rumours of war.”

Western civilization, in its pointed efforts to avoid the acknowledgment of God, has largely forgotten the heritage that made us the most desired nation for immigration. Our leaders seek to erase all things Christian in an effort to appeal to those who came here to enjoy the freedoms inherent in our Christian heritage.

As we stand on the cusp of being a nation of “stoners;” with sexual perversions achieving “god-like” status; our pre-born children sacrificed to Moloch; those children who survived their mother’s wombs are being indoctrinated into all manner of perversions; all while our government legalizes a brain damaging drug to destroy whatever future Canada has; through all of this, Canadians wait for something serious enough to make a stand.

In the past, I heard with pride my grandfather’s exploits in World War II. I heard of how Canadian soldiers were courageous masters of improvisation like MacGyver. I heard how Canadians stepped forward to volunteer their services to battle for freedom so far away.

Today, I hear of our troops serving in other countries to protect victims, train law enforcement, and seek to protect freedoms…fruits of our Christian worldview. We have so much to be proud of abroad…while at home our wounded soldiers are forgotten by an ungrateful government and an ungrateful country.

Had an organization like “Wounded Warriors” applied for a grant from the “Canada Summer Jobs Program,” they would only have qualified for funding if they had been willing to attest to having the same beliefs as our Canadian “dictator.” It’s not about Canadians or how Canadians have benefited by the many charities that have sought to better their lives. Rather, it’s about enforcing a worldview pleasing to our Prime Minister.

We are looking at the tattered flag of a country that once stood proudly for the accomplishments of its citizens. Today, shamefully, we can say that our state-sponsored god is sex; our PM’s achievement is that people will soon be able to destroy their brains with drugs with the government’s blessing. And if they want to end their lives, this government will order doctors to help them do that too. What about diligence in supporting families and providing a better world than we received? Sadly, we now follow Karl Marx’s failed communist adage, “From each according to their ability, to each according to their need.”

What happens when there is nobody left with ability? What happens when masses of Canadians’ minds become damaged by smoking pot? When they become unhireable because pot has made them useless in the workplace, how will they provide for themselves and for the needs of others? What will Canada have to offer our families, our country, and our world?

Time is running out for Canadians to rise up and reclaim our heritage…the heritage that gave us equality under the law; the heritage that gave us our basic fundamental freedoms:

(a) freedom of conscience and religion;

(b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;

(c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and

(d) freedom of association.

It doesn’t take much looking to see what “dinosaurs” those basic, fundamental rights have become in Canada today.

Take a stand! Canada has so much to offer the world. Today is the day to reclaim our heritage and demand that those who have removed our fundamental rights answer for their treasonous behaviour.

Join CHP Canada! Together, we will make a difference.
