Alberta Education Ministry Bullies Families

Alberta has recently released its new mandatory guidelines (PDF) on sexual diversity in schools.
NDP Education Minister David Eggen said the new guidelines ensure the “safety” of transgendered students.
Of course, you would have to seek long and hard, and stand truth on its head, to find where transgendered students have been less ‘safe’ than any other students.
So, we will have to assume that the word ‘safe’ does not refer to physical safety but rather to having their thoughts affirmed as correct and indisputable… except by the ‘bad people, who offend my feelings’. And, of course, those ‘bad people’ have no right to their own thoughts or opinions.
What can easily get lost in the shock of the new mandatory guidelines is which schools are affected by these guidelines. According to the document itself, “public, separate, and Francophone school boards, as well as charter schools and private schools.” Wait a minute, even private schools? Would that not be an infringement on the rights of parents to educate their children as they believe to be best? Alberta’s NDP education minister does not seem to care.
Eggen told CBC News, “The bottom line here is the equality and integrity of every student to feel safe and welcome and cared for in our schools across the province”.
Of course, ‘equality’ must be considered in context. Equality means that those who don’t want to share a washroom with students of the ‘opposite gender expression to the subjects particular perception’ can line up for the ‘non-gendered single stall’ while the spacious multi-stall washrooms are commandeered by the minority who deny their physical sexual gender. Or, those students who don’t want to share change-room space with others have “a private area within the common change-room area (such as a stall with a door, or an area separated by a curtain).” That’s it! A curtain!
Why not paint a target on the back of students who wish to perform their ablutions in private? They are obviously ‘the enemy’, ‘bullies’, ‘sexual bigots’.
Of course, the politically correct position is that ‘bullies’ are those who believe in traditional values. Isn’t it bullying to make a child, desperate to use the washroom, line up for the ‘single stall’? Or is that just re-orienting their thinking process?
The document says, “Self-identification is the sole measure of an individual’s sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.” Is this different from the ‘self-identification’ that was needed to allow a sexual predator into a women’s shelter in Toronto where he sexually assaulted women? Teenaged boys, with their raging hormones, are being set-up for a criminal record by allowing them access to the developing bodies of their female counterparts.
The Alberta government presumably does have a sense of humour though. In their effort to provide genderless language, they allow that, “Some individuals may not feel included in the use of the pronouns “he” or “she” and may prefer alternate pronouns, such as “ze,” “zir,” “hir,” “they” or “them,” or might wish to express themselves or self-identify in other ways (e.g., Mx. instead or Mr., Mrs., Ms., or Miss, or no prefix at all).”
Confused Albertans may not find it funny when they no longer speak the same language as their ‘politically correct’ children, who use meaningless words invented to promote the confused diverse lifestyle.
Parents continue to be the target of ‘progressives’ who seek to ‘own’ the next generations. Parents will not be notified if their son is using the girl’s washroom or vice versa. Parents are responsible if their child has head lice but the really important matters are not their business. Only those employed by the government are deemed wise enough to guide a child. Of course, that school official may be sharing the same change room as your child. All school staff are entitled to ‘self-identify’ with regards to washrooms and change rooms.
This document does include as a best practice, “Strategies are in place to ensure that clear behaviour expectations are communicated to and understood by students, staff and volunteers and that washrooms and change-rooms are adequately supervised.
I have to wonder who is supervising the washrooms and change-rooms. Does a male or female teacher supervise the gender non-specific change-room?….I mean, um, does a non-specified teacher attracted to male or female non-specified genderless human beings supervise the naked students in the non-gender specific change-room? What an amazing job for a pedophile? A smorgasbord of young bodies.
The Alberta government is giving school boards across the province until the end of March to have policies in place that reflect the guidelines.
That’s not a lot of time. And I haven’t been able to find any organized resistance. I encourage Albertans to make a stand…petition, lobby, remove your kids from schools, protest, or attend Alberta CHP events, which will be posted on our website. Just do something!
From pre-school to puberty and through the college years, today’s young Canadians are under assault like never before. Pornography, secular humanism, peer pressure and social values imposed by the education establishment have pushed many young people into premature sexual relationships, drug dependency and suicides. CHP has Better Solutions to protect children and youth and empower families.
