At the National Board Meeting held January 28, 2014, a motion was passed accepting, with regrets, the resignation of Mr. Jim Hnatiuk as Party Leader effective January 31, 2014.
Mr. Hnatiuk has been our Party Leader since 2008 and has contributed many innovative ideas and much energy to further the growth of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada. We thank him for his years of service and wish him God’s blessings in the years ahead.
The Board has ratified the appointment of Mr. David J. Reimer as Interim Leader until the convention scheduled for November 2014, which will be held in Hamilton, Ontario.
Mr. Reimer is well known to the Christian Heritage Party. He has served terms as Deputy Leader, PEP (Prayer, Ethics, and Personnel) Director, and is currently serving as Provincial President for Manitoba. In addition, he has chaired several CHP Conventions. We are thankful for his experience and the enthusiasm with which he takes on this new role.
As you can appreciate, these changes are significant and may come as a surprise to you. Please be assured that the board will continue to build and develop the Party during this time of transition. We covet your prayers at this important time for CHP Canada.
The Christian Heritage Party of Canada is the hope of our nation, and we are confident that Canada’s greatness will be increasingly evident as our nation is restored to the solid foundation of our Christian heritage.
As Canada’s only pro-life, pro-family federal political party, we welcome your participation in our growth. Whether you are a member or someone who is learning more about what we can offer to Canadians, we encourage you to participate in the democratic process through your volunteer efforts, your donations, and through your membership.
With one unified voice seeking to preserve our Christian heritage, we can impact our country and restore respect for life, respect for our environment, and respect for family. Together, we can preserve the freedoms, untarnished, that have made us one of the most desirable nations for immigration.
Leave your mark for future generations; join CHP Canada today.
