Le Comité parlementaire d’éthique a-t-il été créé pour garantir que les élus et le gouvernement fédéral agissent de manière éthique et morale ? Ou bien pour dissimuler leurs manquements et leurs indiscrétions afin de redorer l’image du gouvernement ? Vous conviendrez sans doute que l’objectif était de promouvoir l’éthique. Apparemment, les membres libéraux du Comité n’ont pas reçu le mémo.

Was the Parliamentary Ethics Committee created to ensure elected politicians and the federal government conduct their business in a morally ethical manner? Or was it created simply to cover their blemishes and hide their indiscretions so that the government looks better? I’m sure you agree that ethical behaviour was the goal. Apparently, the Liberal members of the Ethics Committee didn’t get the memo.
