About Linda

Linda Marynuk is a teacher by profession and works for the Manitoba First Nations School System as an Assessment Facilitator. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced), Bachelor of Education, and Masters in Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning from the University of Manitoba. Linda’s husband Jeff is retired from the Canadian military. They have been together for 31 years.

Linda has a passion for social justice issues and desires to see reconciliation and restoration between the government and First Nations people of Canada. She will pursue changes to the discriminatory Indian Act that has plagued her First Nations people for over 500 years.

Linda believes in integrity, honesty and accountability in government and will advocate for people from every walk of life.
