Leader’s Communique 2013-2014

The year 2013 is behind us, but what we accomplished over the past 12 months will, in time, be recognized as a very important year in the life of the Christian Heritage Party.
Winter Update listed many of our accomplishments. But perhaps the crowning achievement was establishing the new positions of District Manager and producing a professional grade video to equip them and our executive to present CHP Canada to the public.
Together, we have faced, and continued to face, the challenge of determining the best step forward for us to achieve our political goals, as set out in our Constitution. Those who plan to serve as delegates at Convention 2014 will need to hone their listening skills, seek discernment, and practice wisdom and perseverance in preparation.
Going through times of uncertainty, struggle, and decision-making is a sure sign that change is about to be birthed. And given the good counsel of many, change will produce healthy growth. As John F. Kennedy once said, "Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth." So, to be a growing and vibrant political party, we cannot be happy or content with the status quo.
This Christian Heritage Party is the hope for our nation and, together, we will see that our successes and improvements are meaningful as our nation is restored to the solid foundation of our Christian heritage.
As Benjamin Franklin once said, "Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning."
The vision I have for the Christian Heritage Party for this New Year and beyond is a very exciting one. An army must move forward to achieve conquest. It is time to shake the dust off our feet and push toward our goal. Our nation needs CHP Canada more now than any other time in our history. I envision the year 2014 as a time of metamorphosis for the CHP. We will emerge in 2015 and beyond in a way that will have our true light shine as a beacon for our nation. Canadians will come to recognize the Christian Heritage Party as a major contender in Canadian politics. The important decisions we make in this New Year will transform the Christian Heritage Party to fill that rightful place.
My vision does not follow in the footsteps of the Reform Party and my vision does not compromise who we are; instead it reinforces and protects our purpose and our identity.
I quote Ronald Reagan: "There are no great limits to growth because there are no limits of human intelligence, imagination, and wonder." The President could only say that because those gifts are God-given.
Join with me, and all members of the Christian Heritage Party across Canada, in celebrating as we launch into this exciting New Year.
God bless you all and your families.
